Zimbos Unimpressed As Mnangagwa Appoints 2 New Deputy Ministers

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s appointment of new deputy ministers caught Zimbabweans off guard. While some welcomed Mavunga’s selection, others questioned the necessity of adding more deputy ministers to a government already struggling with basic service delivery. Here are some of the reactions:

@questoknow:

Are all those deputy ministers really necessary in government that cannot even resurface urban roads. How many ministers did the country have in 1981 when Zimbabwe was the envy of the world?

@baron_mcdonald:

What baffles my mind is, if the minister is not available another minister will act in his capacity, what then is the use of these Deputy Ministers? Kungorova bag chete, chewing taxpayers monies?

@StanleyGee6:

Good direction,
