Ryan Garcia is back in the ring! After his April KO loss to Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Garcia looked to make a comeback against Oscar Duarte.


The showdown took place at the sold-out Toyota Center in Houston, Tex., with 12 rounds competing in a welterweight bout.
After a lackluster fight, Ryan Garcia made a comeback in Round 8 with a signature highlight, knocking out Duarte.

Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) showed his skill against Duarte (26-2-1, 21 KOs), and despite Duarte’s best shots, Garcia dominated the fight.
After a difficult fight to score, both fighters returned to work in the fourth, with body shots and either lands dodging low blows.
The exchange continued with both fighters showing signs of exhaustion, but Garcia came through with an uppercut in Round 6. Despite the relentless back-and-forth, Garcia was able to gain the upper hand, earning the knockout victory in Round 8.
