Max Holloway became the third BMF champion in history on Saturday when he scored an all-time knockout of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.
After putting on one of the best fights of the year, Holloway (26-7 MMA, 22-7 UFC) closed the show in spectacular fashion when he knocked Gaethje out cold during a wild exchange with just one second remaining in the final round at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The result served as a massive boost to Holloway’s already strong profile in the sport, and afterward he touted his numerous “options,” such as a result to featherweight to challenge champion Ilia Topuria, sticking at lightweight to fight the Islam Makhachev vs. Dustin Poirier winner after UFC 302, and more.
