New Style Choices for Meghan Markle on Valentine’s Day
Meghan Markle decided to keep her fashion choices neutral during the national celebration of pink and red on February 14th. The Duchess of Sussex was in Canada alongside Prince Harry, visiting the locations for next year’s Invictus Games. Throughout the One Year to Go events, Markle opted for a selection of winter neutrals, including various skinny jeans paired with boots.
Although her color palette remained consistent on Valentine’s Day, she elevated her outfit for a private reception at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. As reported by Hello Magazine, Markle swapped her denim and winter boots for black trousers by Anine Bing and a structured navy blouse from Dior. She completed the ensemble with $1,300 gold Bottega drop earrings. A photo from the event can be viewed on the Instagram account @whatmeghanwore here.
The black-and-blue color combination appeared again during this visit. The day after, Prince Harry tested an outdoor skeleton track for the upcoming games while Markle stayed cozy in a navy puffer coat, matching scarf, beanie, black skinny jeans, and winter boots.
Upon her return to the United States, Markle transitioned to a more relaxed and tailored style, trading her form-fitting denim and boots for comfortable flats. On February 22nd, she met with former Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller in Beverly Hills wearing black Aquazzura flats, a Bleusalt black turtleneck tucked into wide-leg Ulla Johnson trousers. Markle added warmth to the all-black outfit with a camel-colored cashmere wool Max Mara coat and matching suede clutch from Cesta Collective. It seems she is establishing herself as the Duchess of the Winter Uniform.
