Wow! Takaya Suzuki really showed off his admiration for Jorge Masvidal in an incredible way.
During a Shooto event in Tokyo, Suzuki pulled off a flawless “Gamebred” impression, stunning everyone with a lightning-fast flying knee that knocked out opponent Yuichi Miyagi in just four seconds. Watch the amazing knockout below!
In the clip, Miyagi seems to suggest a glove touch to start the fight, but Suzuki seizes the opportunity to launch his attack, leaving Miyagi unconscious and requiring a stretcher to be taken out of the cage.
What’s even more impressive is that Suzuki’s knockout was one second faster than Masvidal’s famous five-second KO of Ben Askren at UFC 239 in July 2019. That’s quite a feat!
This victory marks Suzuki’s third consecutive first-round knockout, adding to his impressive five-fight winning streak since his pro debut.
As for Miyagi, the 17-year veteran, this marked just the 4th loss of his career by KO/TKO, bringing his record to 20-14-1 after the defeat. » …
