Taylor Swift, the recent recipient of “Person of the Year,” has had an incredible year with her Eras Tour being a massive success. With 66 sold-out shows over eight months and more than 40 songs in each setlist, it’s no wonder this tour has made history. And the excitement continues with another 85 shows scheduled for next year.
But how did Taylor prepare for such an undertaking? Well, she ran—on her treadmill, to be exact.
In an interview with Time, Taylor revealed that she trained for the intense stage time by singing her entire setlist while running on her treadmill every day for six months before the tour began.
She even tailored her running speed to match the songs, going fast for the fast songs and slower for the slower ones. In addition to this, she followed a specific strength and conditioning program and devoted three extra months to dance lessons.
Taylor’s determination to give her fans a remarkable experience led her to make sacrifices, including giving up alcohol throughout most of her preparation. Her hard work and dedication are truly inspiring, and fans all over the world are eagerly anticipating the next leg of her tour.
Not surprisingly, fans have been buzzing about Taylor Swift’s rigorous workout routine, with many calling for her to get into a race. It wouldn’t be unusual for a “Person of the Year” to take on such a challenge; for example, 2010 recipient Mark Zuckerberg recently completed a 5K race in an impressive time.
