The Apple Vision Pro is currently unable to support immersive 3D porn, according to reports on the oculusnsfw subreddit. While the goggles can handle standard porn videos, dedicated VR and AR content won’t function as is.
Alex Novak, the CEO of Sex Like Real, a virtual reality porn platform, pointed to Apple’s lack of WebXR support in their browser as the main obstacle. Without WebXR, users miss out on adult content as well as other VR and AR experiences like games and productivity apps.
Workaround for WebXR on Apple Vision Pro
To address this limitation, Apple Insider suggests tweaking Safari settings to enable WebXR features. By enabling specific options under Advanced settings, users may gain access to WebXR content.
However, Novak noted that while this workaround opens the platform, it doesn’t yet support launching videos. He reassures that a solution is in the works.
