The Grand Ole Opry has partnered with Tecovas to introduce the latest lineup of artists for the Opry NextStage program, focusing on showcasing the upcoming generation of country music talents. The 2024 Opry NextStage roster includes nine promising acts: 49 Winchester, Anne Wilson, Charles Wesley Godwin, Chase Matthew, Ella Langley, Flatland Cavalry, Josh Ross, Madeline Edwards, and Wyatt Flores, who will all have the opportunity to perform at the Opry and receive extensive exposure through Opry Entertainment Group’s various platforms.
During a press conference at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House, the announcement was made by Lainey Wilson, a former participant of Opry NextStage who has since achieved accolades like CMA Entertainer of the Year and GRAMMY awards. Jamey Johnson, a renowned Opry member with ACM and CMA recognitions, also joined in making the announcement.
Wilson expressed her excitement about the new lineup, saying, “I’m thrilled to introduce the Opry NextStage program class of 2024. Having been a part of the NextStage class in 2021, this is a significant moment for me. I am a huge admirer of all these artists, and I cannot wait to witness their musical journeys this year!”
Offering words of wisdom to the new class, Johnson advised, “Listen to the essence that brought you here tonight and always stay true to it.”
Throughout the year, the selected artists will receive support from Opry Entertainment Group and Tecovas, the sponsor of the initiative, through a series of original content, performances, and promotional efforts on the brand’s channels.
Gillian Kennedy, Chief Marketing Officer at Tecovas, emphasized the brand’s dedication to music and its role in honoring the Western spirit by saying, “At Tecovas, we believe that music is a vital way to tap into the authentic essence of the West.
