Warning: Quaker Oats Recalls Chewy Bars and Granola Cereals Due to Salmonella Concerns

Attention all Quaker Oats customers!

Quaker Oats Company, which is owned by PepsiCo, is urging you to remove these treats from your home immediately. They have issued a warning about a voluntary recall due to potential salmonella contamination in numerous granola bars and cereals.

The recall affects a wide variety of Quaker Chewy Bars and Quaker Simply Granola cereal, including those found in Frito-Lay variety packs and Lunch Box Mix packs. These products are sold in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan. Quaker is advising consumers to check their pantries for any of the affected products and dispose of them.

A complete list of the recalled products, along with UPC numbers, sizes, and expiration dates, can be found in this PDF. Quaker has also stated that there have been no confirmed reports of illness related to these products and has informed the Food and Drug Administration about the potential contamination.
