The Crew-8 from SpaceX is on its way to the International Space Station, following a successful launch from the Kennedy Space Center. The crew includes NASA astronauts Michael Barratt, Matthew Dominick, and Jeanette Epps, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin. They are expected to reach the space station, located 250 miles above Earth, at around 3 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
SpaceX faced a minor issue 30 minutes before the launch, as engineers had to assess a small crack in the hatch of the Crew Dragon spacecraft. After determining that it posed no risk to the spacecraft’s integrity, the launch proceeded as planned.
## How to Watch the Arrival
NASA will be live streaming the rendezvous and docking of the Crew-8 spacecraft to the International Space Station starting at 1 a.m. ET. The stream can be accessed through the embedded player on this page or by visiting NASA’s YouTube channel. Viewers can expect real-time footage from inside the capsule and the ISS, along with audio feeds from Mission Control and commentary to explain the events.
The docking process is scheduled to take place at approximately 3 a.m. ET, followed by the opening of the hatch at 4:45 a.m. ET to allow the new crew members to enter the space station. After their arrival, the entire ISS crew will gather for remarks that will be included in the live stream.
## Recent Updates
