Xiaomi has some exciting news for its global audience – the Redmi Note 13 5G will be released outside of China. Even better, it’s set to receive an upgraded camera set-up, with a third rear-facing camera added for its MediaTek Dimensity 6080-powered handset.
Introduced a few months ago, the Redmi Note 13 series has only been available in China, along with other Xiaomi models. Social media buzz indicates that the Redmi Note 13 series will first reach India, but the global market will soon follow.
Although we don’t have a confirmed release date for other markets, recent leaks show that Xiaomi’s plans go beyond India. The Redmi Note 13 5G is expected to debut globally in Arctic White, Ocean Teal, and Graphite Black, just like its Chinese counterpart.
However, the best part is that Xiaomi has made some significant upgrades to the Redmi Note 13 5G for its global release, including the addition of a third rear-facing camera to accompany the 108 MP primary sensor. Although the specifics are still under wraps, we can look to the global version of the Redmi Note 12 5G for some hints. This model saw Xiaomi add an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle to the existing camera hardware.
The global Redmi Note 13 5G retains the impressive 120 Hz AMOLED display and the 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W wired charging support. For more hardware details, check out our Redmi Note 13 5G launch article!
