iMessage has been a revelation for Apple. Not only is it a sleek and reliable messaging platform, it’s also proven to keep people in the Apple ecosystem. But, there’s always room for improvement. Here are a few features from WhatsApp we think could help iMessage stay on top form.
Locked chats
WhatsApp introduced a new feature allowing you to hide locked chats from normal folders so that they only appear after entering your password. This prevents unauthorized access to specific conversations without others even knowing about them.
At the moment, iMessage lacks the ability to password protect conversations or hide specific folders. Enhancing the privacy and security of iMessages by adding this feature seems like a logical next step for Apple.
Broadcasts
WhatsApp’s broadcast lists allow you to send the same message to multiple recipients without creating a group chat. This feature is different from Group iMessage as the message appears in each person’s personal chat with you.
Last seen
WhatsApp shows the last time a contact was active on the service, providing valuable information about their availability. While iMessage shows when someone has seen your messages and their current status, it lacks the ability to view the last time a contact was active.
Disappearing messages
SnapChat pioneered disappearing messages, and this could be a valuable addition to iMessage’s feature set. For more information, you can Read More
