Making headlines in the world of basketball, Los Angeles Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank has come forth to comment on how two of the team’s star players, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, have been at the forefront of the NBA’s load management trend.
Frank expressed discontent with the treatment of the Clippers’ star duo, telling ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk, “I thought it was very, very unfair and a low blow…”
When it comes to resting players, Leonard and George were not the only ones, yet the Clippers were often associated with proactively resting players when the NBA introduced its new rules.
It had long been assumed that every possible precaution was taken to protect Leonard and George. However, they have worked to dispel skeptics by missing only a single game in the 2023-24 season.
