Did you hear the latest news about a Minnesota dentist? A patient is suing him after she claims he performed over 30 procedures in a single visit. Kathleen Wilson filed a malpractice suit against Dr. Kevin Molldrem and Molldrem Family Dentistry, alleging that Dr. Molldrem performed eight crowns, four root canals, and 20 fillings on her during a visit in July 2020.
In the lawsuit, Wilson accused Dr. Molldrem of “negligent work” and claims she suffered “significant injuries.” She is seeking at least $50,000 in damages. Dr. Molldrem, who has been practicing for 20 years, reportedly received the court summons at his Eden Prairie office last week.
Experts involved in the case claim that Dr. Molldrem administered an excessive amount of anesthesia, putting Wilson at risk. It has been suggested that his treatment plan, trying to fill every tooth in her mouth in one visit, was not recommended.
Dr. Molldrem has not yet commented on the allegations. Check out the full story for more details.
