Get ready to level up your handheld gaming experience, because the MSI Claw, based on Intel Core Ultra hardware, has made a grand entrance at CES. Designed to compete with the Asus ROG Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go, MSI’s working on not only the first Claw version, but according to an MSI executive, a second, third and fourth version as well. It’s undoubtedly something PC gamers are going to want to get their hands on.
. He said that MSI anticipates it to have a two-to-three-year lifecycle, similar to their laptops. Chun also mentioned that more versions of the Claw are already in the pipeline including versions 2, 3, and 4 that are being developed. PC gamers are eagerly looking forward to the possibilities of these new versions.
While the news of the progression of the Claw is exciting, MSI is aware that it’s dependent upon non-existent updates of CPU and integrated graphics. This additional information may mean we have to buckle up and be patient, as the future of the Claw and the gaming market will have to unfold.
