Prince Harry’s lawyer is seeking 2 million pounds from the Daily Mirror for legal fees, after proving that his privacy was invaded by phone hacking and other unlawful tactics. This is a victory in his battle against the British media, as he’s taken a stand against tabloid practices. He’s also likely to return to court over similar trials against The Sun and Daily Mail publishers. The Duke of Sussex made history by testifying in court, becoming the first senior royal to do so in over a century.

The legal fees were a result of a successful trial that found the privacy of all four claimants, including Prince Harry, had been violated. His lawyer argued that the case was overwhelmingly successful and their clients should be reimbursed fully. The judge will rule on this at a later date.
