Prepare to be delightfully disturbed once again, because the trailer for Death Stranding 2 is here!
Hideo Kojima is back with another bizarre sequel that is set to launch in 2025. The original Death Stranding was known for its unique and strange gameplay, and it looks like the sequel is shaping up to be just as odd.
During Sony’s State of Play showcase, a new trailer for Death Stranding 2 was revealed, and it does not disappoint. The footage features unsettling surgery scenes, new international locations, and the return of a villain with a Joker-esque makeover. And of course, the baby is back, along with a new talking doll.
The sequel now has an official title – Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The premise promises an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA, as Sam and his companions set out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction.
Death Stranding 2 was announced at The Game Awards in 2022 and is set to launch on the PS5, with a PC and iPhone release likely to follow. The game features a star-studded cast, including Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Troy Baker.
But that’s not all that’s in store from Kojima Productions – they have collaborations with A24 for a live-action film based on Death Stranding, as well as a mysterious Xbox horror game called OD.
