Based on available information, it seems that the Galaxy S24 series will bring only incremental upgrades over the Galaxy S23 models, with the main focus likely being on AI capabilities. However, the real improvements are expected to come with the Galaxy S25 series next year.

According to a well-known leaker, the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are rumored to swap out the aging ISOCELL GN3 sensor in favor of one from Sony. The exact model is yet to be confirmed, but the possibility of a custom variant called the IMX890 for Galaxy has been suggested. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to continue using Samsung’s in-house ISOCELL sensors.

While these details may be subject to change, it’s exciting to anticipate the improvements the Galaxy S25 series will bring. The 10-core Exynos 2500 SoC, being developed by Samsung’s Dream Team of engineers, is one of the few confirmed parts of the upcoming device.
