Oct. 19 (UPI) — Pop music star Brandy suffered from dehydration and cut her Chicago show short on Saturday.
The singer offered the explanation for her abrupt exit from the concert on Instagram Sunday.
“I’m deeply grateful to my sister, Monica, for stepping up with such grace and professionalism and the entire crew for their continued care and support,” Brandy wrote.
“I went from the arena to see a doctor nearby and have taken the proper precautions to help moving forward,” she added. “Your understanding, patience, and unwavering belief mean the world to me.”
People.com said concertgoers were left confused when Brandy left the stage and Monica wrapped up the show by herself.
The pair did not get to sing their hit, “The Boy is Mine.”
