She confessed that using her influential platform to promote explicit content and encourage monthly subscriptions made her realize the negative impact she was having on her young followers. With 19 million combined social media followers, she sensed that her actions were leading impressionable fans down a harmful path.
OnlyFans, while not exclusively for adult content, is predominantly used by sex workers, with top creators making over $100k monthly. Chyna initially earned a reported $20 million from the site, but later clarified that the actual figure was closer to $2 million over two years.
She regrets inadvertently suggesting to her fans that explicit content was the pathway to success, which she now realizes was misleading.
Blac Chyna No Longer Wanted To Promote A Platform That Allegedly Exploits People
Chyna reflected, “It was just exploiting myself to get obviously money, but it wasn’t showing my authentic self. Blac Chyna, because of my past, it was like ‘she’s a super exotic dancer turned this.'”
After joining OnlyFans in 2020, Chyna experienced remorse over the influence she had on her impressionable fans, particularly young girls.
She expressed concern that her actions would encourage others to engage in similar behavior for financial gain, which she found troubling and wished to disassociate herself from. After undergoing a spiritual transformation, she hopes to escape judgment for her previous actions and serve as a positive example moving forward.
Chyna is determined to redefine her public image and distance herself from her association with OnlyFans as she aims to leave a more positive legacy.
