Bob Saget’s Widow Kelly Rizzo Defends Her Relationship with Breckin Meyer

Responding to Criticism Over Her Relationship with Breckin Meyer

Kelly Rizzo, known for her show “Eat Travel Rock,” recently addressed critics questioning the speed at which she moved on from the tragic loss of her late husband, Bob Saget. In a TikTok video, she emphasized how people who have not experienced a similar loss should refrain from passing judgment on her new relationship with Breckin Meyer.

Acknowledging that the majority of the feedback she has received since Saget’s passing has been positive, Rizzo highlighted the complex emotions and thoughts that accompany the grieving process. She stressed that outsiders do not fully grasp the intricacies of such a challenging journey.

Rizzo, aged 44, explained that despite still feeling a sense of guilt following Saget’s death in January 2022, she did not entertain the idea of dating until well after the tragedy. It took her 18 months to feel ready to reenter the dating world, underscoring the personal nature of her decision-making process.

Debuting their relationship at a Grammys viewing party, Rizzo and Meyer have faced scrutiny for their romantic involvement. While Saget’s daughters have given their approval, Rizzo admitted to feeling conflicted about moving on. However, she emphasized the importance of finding peace within one’s heart before pursuing new relationships.

Despite the challenges and mixed emotions, Rizzo and Meyer attended a friend’s wedding together in Mexico, where they were photographed sharing a passionate kiss. Through vulnerability and honesty, Rizzo has navigated the complexities of her grief and emerging love life, urging others to respect her personal journey and decisions.
