Onic Esports from Indonesia made history as the first grand finalist of the M5 World Championship. They crushed AP.Bren in three games, finding victory in the best-of-five upper bracket finals match. This impressive win was led by the legendary “best jugnler in the world,” Kairi “Kairi” Rayoldelsol.
I had the incredible opportunity to speak with both Kairi and coach Yeb after their match and ahead of the Grand Final today. The exclusive insights they gave us are nothing short of remarkable.

Kairi: “It’s not over …”
Kairi candidly shared what went through his mind, especially in the first game, where AP.Bren took control. Onic was left without a single kill until a late game clash turned the entire series around in an unforgettable twist of fate.
“It was just normal for us since we were crushed in the early to mid game from some of our previous matches. It’s part of the game, and it’s not over until it’s over.”
Nolan wins games
All games in the series saw Kairi utilize the assassin jungle hero Nolan to victory. His expertise, coupled with Nicky “Kiboy” Pontunuwu’s incredible playmaking capabilities, truly set the stage for an unforgettable series.
Thus, with Onic winning the upper bracket finals, they have secured their place in the grand finals. This is set to be an epic showdown as Indonesia takes on the Philippines in tomorrow’s grand final match.
