Exciting News: Full Specs for Minisforum’s V3 3-in-1 Tablet with AMD Ryzen 7 8840 Revealed! Late March Release Confirmed

Is the Microsoft Surface facing stiff competition?

The latest offering from Minisforum, the V3 convertible, seems to be a strong contender in the market. Packed with a 28 W Ryzen 7 8840U processor, 8 Zen4 cores, an integrated Radeon 780M, and a powerful XDNA NPU, this device boasts top-tier specifications. It also features a high-quality 14-inch touchscreen, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 2 TB of storage. While the pricing information is yet to be revealed, it is anticipated to be announced by the end of March.

In early January, Minisforum had already unveiled most of the specs for the V3 convertible, leaving enthusiasts speculating about the exact APU. The company had all but confirmed a “Hawk Point” Ryzen 7 8840U APU, but it wasn’t until recently that the confirmation came through. The delay may have been due to uncertainties about securing an adequate supply of units. However, Minisforum has now assured customers of a Q1 2024 launch, with a more precise release window set for late March.

Updated on the product page are detailed specs of the V3, which includes:
– 165 Hz refresh rate, 2560 x 1600 resolution, 500 nit brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut
