The Louisiana teacher revealed that he knew he wanted to marry Gypsy just 4 months after they first met in person. When she asked him where he saw their relationship going, he knew it was time to take the next step.
After Ryan snuck an engagement ring into the visitation room during his third visit to her, Gypsy reminisces about the proposal in audio footage from her time in prison, saying that he took her by the hand and professed his love for her.
