ASRock has recently unveiled the all-new NUC Ultra 100 BOX series, featuring the latest Intel Meteor Lake processors. But now, they have taken it a step further and introduced the 4×4 motherboards powering these mini PCs, providing unmatched flexibility to create custom systems with the Intel Core Ultra processors.
Hot on the heels of the NUC Ultra 100 BOX mini PC launch, ASRock has now given us the NUC Ultra 100 Motherboard Series. These are the very boards found inside the newly released mini PCs, offering the latest Intel Meteor Lake processors.
To be more specific, ASRock’s NUC Ultra 100 Motherboard Series comes with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processors. These boards can be paired with up to 96 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and up to three SSDs through M.2 2280 and 2242 slots, with support for Gen 4 PCIe SSDs. There’s also a connector for SATA 3 SSD or HDD.
Measuring 4.1 x 4 x 1.5 inches, these are 4×4 motherboards. The new ASRock NUC Ultra 100 boards come with various ports including 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DP 1.4 Alt mode, Thunderbolt 4 with DP 2.1 Alt mode, 2 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and 3.5 mm audio. ASRock claims that these motherboards can support up to four 4K displays and come with a dedicated cooling solution.
