A new leak has revealed that Samsung will be officially announcing the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra on January 17. These phones are expected to have similar specs to their predecessors, with special AI capabilities setting them apart from other devices on the market.
Renowned leaker Evan Blass has confirmed the specs and reveal date for the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup. The Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event is set to commence on January 17 at 10 am PST/1 pm EST, with AI being a central focus.
The Galaxy S24 will come with a 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz max refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of brightness. Additionally, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera capable of shooting 8K video, 8 GB of RAM, and a 4,000 mAh battery that can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.
The Galaxy S24+ will have a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with the same cameras as the S24. It will boast 12 GB of RAM, double the storage options, and a 4,900 mAh battery that charges from 0% to 65% in half an hour.
The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra will include a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, a 200-megapixel main camera, an extra 10x telephoto module, and additional features such as built-in S Pen and a titanium frame instead of aluminum. Storage and RAM options will reportedly remain the same as the S24+, with a slight increase in battery capacity to 5,000 mAh.
