Since being elected Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson has managed to stir the pot with his controversial views on issues such as gay marriage, abortion, and the cause of mass shootings in America. The man seems to see the world through some extremely tinted glasses.
A report from The Daily Beast shocks us further by revealing that before his political career, Johnson represented clients affiliated with some of the most extreme antiabortion and anti-LGBTQ groups in the country. Specifically, he provided legal services to a Christian activist group, Alliance Defending Freedom that once defended a group leader who had ties to the murder of an abortion provider. This same group still advocates for charging women who get abortions with murder. The details of this alliance would make anyone feel uneasy. Even more unnervingly, another connection Johnson has is Jason Storms, who also participated in the January 6 events and was involved in a bomb scare at a Pride event earlier this year, according to reports.
