San Diego, CA San Diego Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship
Exciting news for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season! Max Sanford from Pasadena, Maryland, will be filling in for Host Grindstone after Dylan Walsh’s crash and injuries at the season opener. The #162 is ready to put the Host Kawi to work starting in San Diego (round three) and the team is thrilled to have Sanford on board. Meanwhile, Walsh has been released from the hospital after suffering a laceration in his small intestine and is focused on healing and recovering to make a full comeback for the second half of the 250SX West Region Championship.
In the last chance qualifier race at the season opener, Sanford just missed transferring to the 250SX main event by two spots. But he’s fired up and ready to go for it in San Francisco this weekend, as he posted after A1: “Anaheim 1✔️
It was a rough night on Saturday but we’re fired up and ready to go for it in San Francisco this weekend🔥”
