New and Improved Win-Loss Projections for Every NBA Team

Revised Win-Loss Projections for Each NBA Franchise

The 2023-24 NBA season is entering its final stretch, with the finish line in sight. While the Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs have already been eliminated from playoff contention, the remaining teams still have time to secure postseason berths and vie for favorable playoff seeding. As the season winds down, there are sure to be surprises, but we can still attempt to predict each team’s final record with some level of accuracy.

Atlanta Hawks: 37-45

Despite facing numerous injuries, including a season-ending ACL tear for Saddiq Bey, the Atlanta Hawks have managed to stay competitive. With a 5-4 record since Trae Young’s injury, the team has proven resilient. Led by Dejounte Murray and a talented frontcourt, the Hawks should be able to maintain their competitiveness until Young’s return. A predicted 8-10 finish may not be spectacular, but it should be enough to secure a play-in tournament spot in the Eastern Conference.

Boston Celtics: 63-19

The Boston Celtics have been dominant this season, but they still have the potential to achieve even greater success. A projected 63 wins would represent a significant slowdown in their winning percentage, indicating that they may ease off the gas pedal as they secure their position atop the Eastern Conference. With key players like Al Horford and Jrue Holiday likely to see reduced minutes for rest and injury prevention, the Celtics will focus on maintaining their health heading into the postseason.

Brooklyn Nets: 33-49

Under interim head coach Kevin Ollie, the Brooklyn Nets have shown improved competitiveness compared to their previous performance under Jacque Vaughn. With a 5-6 record under Ollie, the Nets have shown signs of progress despite their struggles. Looking ahead, the team will aim to build on this momentum and finish the season on a positive note.
