Nigel Lythgoe Responds to Paula Abdul’s Sexual Assault Lawsuit Accusations

‘Idol’ Producer Nigel Lythgoe denies Paula Abdul’s sexual assault claims and deems them “false and offensive.” Lythgoe states that the allegations made against him are untrue and profoundly offensive. While Abdul’s suit is shocking and a wild understatement for Lythgoe, he vows to stand up vigorously against these claims in court. Nigel expresses this is a smear and promises to fight it with all he has. lt is unknown what erratic behavior Nigel is talking about but it seems to be a veiled jab at her alleged affair with Corey Clark. Paula filed the bombshell suit against Lythgoe on Friday with allegations of being sexually assaulted by him on at least two occasions. Nigel denies all of it.
