Welcome to the U.S. CPSC
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is on a mission to protect the public from the risks associated with thousands of consumer products. Every year, consumer product-related incidents result in over $1 trillion in costs from deaths, injuries, and property damage. Over the past 50 years, CPSC’s efforts have helped decrease the rate of injuries associated with consumer products.
It’s important to note that federal law prevents the sale of products that are subject to a Commission ordered recall or a voluntary recall done in consultation with the CPSC.
