The Cleveland Browns have made some changes to their coaching staff this month, and now they are focused on filling the empty positions, specifically in relation to their passing game. The team is reportedly looking to hire Alabama offensive coordinator Tommy Rees to join their coaching staff and play a role in developing the passing game. The Athletic reports that Rees will be joining the Browns as their new tight ends coach, bringing with him his experience as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Crimson Tide in 2023.
Rees has a strong background in coaching and college football, previously holding positions at Notre Dame. Given Cleveland’s No. 19 passing offense ranking last year, it is clear that they are looking to make significant changes moving forward. With the addition of Rees to their coaching staff, the Browns are aiming to elevate their passing game and take it to the next level.
Despite ending the season with an 11-6 record and earning a wild card playoff spot, the Browns are committed to fine-tuning their offense. Hiring Rees could be a key move in achieving that goal and strengthening their passing game for the coming season.
