If you want to take your appreciation of the International to the next level, there’s nothing quite like being emotionally invested in a team. With so many options vying for your attention, today we’ll focus on a select few that truly stand out: teams with rich histories and a deeply personal connection to the International.
Safe bet:

Two years ago, Team Spirit clinched the biggest International win to date. After seemingly going into hibernation, they recently awoke and made a triumphant return, claiming back-to-back victories at both Riyadh Master and DreamLeague Season 21. This team is in top form and consistently delivers an incredibly entertaining performance.
Their ability to turn the game in their favor even when they appear to be at a disadvantage is truly impressive. While others play Chess, they play Poker, going all-in at every turn and making miraculous comebacks seemingly out of thin air. With this skill, it’s no wonder that they are the favorites to take it all. Or are they?
An even safer bet?

Gaimin Gladiators seem to falter at the International, despite performing well throughout the season. They won BetBoom Dacha, but struggled in the playoffs at DreamLeague and placed fourth at Riyadh Masters. These results are decent, but not what is expected from a team that dominated every Major this season.
Are they conserving their energy for the big show, or are they simply fatigued? To take it all, they will need to recapture their Major-winning form.
Most deserving:

When it comes to the fate of the Aegis, the contributions and legacies of both Azure Ray and Shopify Rebellion make a compelling case. Both teams have legendary players with rich histories and have consistently delivered outstanding performances over many years, but have yet to claim the aegis.
The NA squad, Shopify Rebellion, has shown a remarkable turnaround, adapting and improving after a lackluster performance at Riyadh to become a completely different team at DreamLeague last month. Their potential is undeniable.
