Check out the amazing new feature I stumbled upon at the Asus booth at CES 2024. This motherboard game changer will have you wondering why you didn’t think of it yourself.
The innovative feature ensures that your PC’s RAM is properly seated. This is crucial because improperly seated memory kits can lead to frustrating issues. Asus PR manager Juan Jose Guerrero also pointed out that many customer support calls are due to this annoying problem.

The tiny orange LED indicator light next to the DIMM slots on the board automatically detects when memory modules are inserted and indicates if they aren’t fully inserted by remaining on. If they’re secure, the LED is disabled giving you peace of mind at a glance.
I could have saved a lot of time and effort in past DIY projects if this feature was available before. This now-no-brainer feature may just be the best innovation for PC builders. Just think of the blood and tears shed that could have been avoided.
After your RAM is in and your PC is booted, the same light indicates that your GPU, RAM, graphics card, and storage are all working properly during startup. The LED, in addition to other Asus quality-of-life features, is found in every Asus Z790 refresh ROG and TUF motherboard announced since last Computex.
This revolutionary feature is definitely an upgrade worth raving about. Stay tuned for more PC goodness from the CES 2024 show floor all week long!
