And let’s not forget where we’ve already explored:
Champagne and Paris
Last November, the talented master sommelier Victoria James, known for her role as director of beverage at Gracious Hospitality Management, took a lucky group of travelers on an unforgettable journey through France’s Champagne region, followed by enchanting days in Paris. Discover the Parisian wine bars that captivate this respected sommelier and taste the delectable treats at her favorite chocolatiers. The champagne adventure included visits to quaint family-owned wineries and the prestigious House of Krug in Reims. Travelers savored gourmet meals at local gems like Les Avizés in Champagne and quaint bistros adored by the locals. In between culinary delights, the group explored Gothic churches, UNESCO sites, and intriguing fossil-rich caves.
Piedmont
Also in November, Chef Stefano Secchi from the renowned Michelin-starred Rezdôra led an expedition to Piedmont in Italy’s picturesque northwest. Secchi introduced travelers to the talented chefs, skilled artisans, and passionate winemakers who call this region home. Guests reveled in the essence of Slow Food, savoring the finest local delicacies from Castelmagno cheese to coveted truffles and luscious hazelnuts. The group wandered through the vineyards of Langhe and Roero, renowned for producing Italy’s top wines like Barolo and Barbaresco, making it a must-visit for any wine enthusiast. Of course, the itinerary included Turin, a city brimming with diverse architecture and mouthwatering cuisine.
