Joe Manganiello Steps Out with Caitlin O’Connor on the Red Carpet after Split from Sofía Vergara

Joe Manganiello made his red carpet debut with Caitlin O’Connor over the weekend – five months after filing for divorce from Sofía Vergara.

The “True Blood” star, 46, and the “Winning Time” actress, 33, smiled alongside each other Saturday evening ahead of the Children of Armenia Fund Gala at Cipriani in New York City.

In the photos, Manganiello wrapped his arm around O’Connor’s waist, holding her close while posing for photographers.

The “Magic Mike XXL” star wore a simple black suit with a matching tie and a grayish-blue button-down underneath, whereas the actress stunned in a plunging emerald green gown which featured a corseted bodice and a high slit revealing the actress’ crystal-accented heels.

She completed the regal look with dangling crystal and emerald earrings and simple stacked bracelets.

Page Six reported in September that Manganiello and O’Connor had “casually” been seeing each other. The “True Blood” star rested his hand on the “Winning Time” star’s hip.

Per a report made by TMZ at the time, the two met in August during a screening event for Season 2 of “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.”

Following the event, O’Connor and Manganiello bonded at an afterparty with pals, where they all enjoyed a dip in the jacuzzi together. The outlet also reported that the two bonded over both being from the greater Pittsburgh area.

Manganiello’s debut with O’Connor comes five months after he filed for divorce from Vergara. Their romance started heating up after Manganiello’s seven-year marriage with Vergara came to an end in July.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the former couple said in a statement to Page Six at the time. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Vergara has since been romantically linked to Justin Saliman. A source told us at the time that the “Modern Family” star and the actor were “growing apart for a while” before they called it quits.

According to a second insider, Manganiello’s intense desire for children led to their demise, as Vergara shares one child, Manolo, 32, with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez.
