Cody Ware has been reinstated by NASCAR after an indefinite suspension earlier this year. The charges against him were dropped by the Iredell County district attorney’s office, and Ware is now approved to return to all NASCAR Racing activity.
Ware is grateful to have the allegations dismissed and to have his life back after a difficult eight months. He has nearly 100 starts in the Cup Series and joined the team owned by his father, Rick Ware Racing, in 2017.
In addition to his NASCAR career, Ware was part of the championship-winning team in the Asian Le Mans Series and has also made appearances in the Rolex 24 and IndyCar races.
Rick Ware Racing used various drivers in the No. 51 Ford Mustang during Ware’s suspension, and the team has signed Justin Haley earlier this year, although they have yet to announce a driver for its second full-time entry.
