Annoyed users are raging over how Microsoft Rewards have reduced the amount of points earned, making it difficult to earn with the recent changes. The bonuses have been removed and many users are losing out on points that they have tradionally relied on.
Microsoft Rewards, an upgrade from Bing Rewards since 2016, aimed at giving benefits to frequent users of Microsoft’s services have recently been butchered down to just 1-5 points per task from 5-15, making it extremely hard for users to earn any significant amount of points.
You could previously earn 270 per day by just searching with Bing, browsing on Edge, and using Microsoft’s mobile apps. Without any payment, you could receive money to use on Amazon gift cards and others. But that’s all gone now.
What really has users fuming the most is how they no longer receive extra points for just using Edge or other services. Rewards for additional activities like games and quizzes have also come down to just a single point, and even those points have been hard to come by after the latest changes. To make it worse, Microsoft is putting a cap on the points you can earn through Bing searches too! How terrible is that?

This is clearly making users feel cheated. It’s no longer easy to accumulate even a small amount of points by using Microsoft’s products as they are constantly changing how the Rewards program works. What a shame!
