Mirko Cro Cop made a name for himself in kickboxing as one of the most thrilling fighters in K-1. He then transitioned to MMA in 2001 and quickly stood out in Pride FC. Known for his devastating left high kick, Cro Cop left a trail of unconscious bodies in his wake. He became one of the most accomplished and beloved heavyweights in history, winning the Pride Openweight Grand Prix in 2006 and engaging in the Fight of the Decade against Fedor Emelianenko. Though he had a disappointing stint in the UFC, Cro Cop experienced a late-career resurgence, claiming a K-1 world title and winning the RIZIN Openweight Grand Prix in 2016 before retiring in 2019 following a stroke.
