Pat Sabatini is on a roll with his grappling skills, taking out his fellow UFC fighters left and right.
Despite a recent loss in the octagon, Sabatini is starting off 2024 on a high note after delivering a brutally impressive submission at Cage Fury FC’s Fury Pro Grappling 8 event in Philadelphia.
Just over three minutes into his match with UFC welterweight Niko Price, Sabatini seized the opportunity to take his back and then his leg, executing a flawless Suloev stretch on the mat.
Check out the epic submission finish below.
Sabatini had the hold locked in perfectly, almost touching his shoulder with the inside of his right knee. In other words: OUCH.
This year-end grappling event has been especially lucky for Sabatini, who also submitted UFC fighter Alex Caceres on the same date last year at Fury Grappling Pro 6.
In his MMA journey, Sabatini finished 2023 with a 1-1 score, securing a submission win over Lucas Almeida in June and then experiencing a knockout loss to Diego Lopes at UFC 295.
