USC Dominates Louisville Defense in 42-28 Holiday Bowl Win

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (WDRB) — The University of Louisville played in the DirecTV Holiday Bowl and lost their chance at victory against USC by a score of 42-28.

The Cards’ defense struggled and USC coach Lincoln Riley had a huge win. UofL coach Jeff Brohm expressed disappointment and challenged the team to improve for the future.

Wilson and Jackson both emphasized the need for improvement in their pre-game remarks. Despite USC’s missing starting quarterback, Miller Moss stepped up to lead the team. With this loss, the Cardinals’ once magical season ended on a rough note.
