This product recall pertains to EVAS 20-pound propane exchange cylinders identified by model number EVAS – M0859, a serial number starting with a “W,” and a date code of either “06-23” or “07-23.” These specific markings can be found stamped on the collar of the cylinder. Despite being initially distributed with an AmeriGas label, consumers may have swapped these cylinders with other propane suppliers who would then affix their own customized sleeve or label.

These EVAS propane cylinders were retailed through AmeriGas’ propane cylinder exchange partners in New Hampshire and the Eastern Massachusetts (Boston Metropolitan) region from July 2023 until August 2023.
